Ring Lord

Thinking about doing more art towards the "A Ring Runs Around It" idea, which Galatea Dreaming is a part of. 

The Ring Lord rules the Ring world Gaea (which he uses a replica of as his head with a real star).  He allows people from all over the universe to come to his ring world, uses it's advanced facilities, at the cost of allowing him to watch every moment of their time there (yes, every moment of every person there - on a ring world).  The amount of time he will allow someone to remain on Gaea is limited (only 50 years of so), but extensions are available for people who make themselves interesting.  Also he is a massive pervert.  He gives more extensions to people who are also perverts.

Mostly though, Gaea winds up hosting his collection of dead societies, stored digitally in the digital depths of the world.  When the whim strikes him, he will pull one up and re-materialize it.  Teams of explorers pore over these cities, churning out guides full of information, all of which goes to the Ring Lord (he just collects the stuff, he leaves it to others to catalog it).  It isn't surprising that these teams usually fight amongst themselves to be the first to make a claim on one of these cities.  They are ranked of course.

This is almost certainly not his real form, but a puppet body hosting his consciousness.  He is being attended by his bioroid bodyguard Blackfyre.
